July 18, 2006 —SpielbergFilms.com was able to sit down with Mr. Spielberg in Chicago after the Chicago International Film Festival's (CIFF) Tribute to Steven Spielberg. He was asked a couple of questions about Jurassic Park 4, and put at least one rumor to rest.

Awalt: Understandable. Online, there's been talk about Breck Eisner on 'Jurassic Park IV.'

Spielberg: That's not true. Joe Johnston is standing by.

Awalt: First dibs on it?

Spielberg: First dibs on it, and Joe is my go-to 'Jurassic' guy now.

Awalt: There's been talk about Joe Johnston that says he took the negative flack about 'Jurassic Park III,' and said in public that any faults with the film are his faults. There was talk that you didn't care for the film, but it was profitable, and I've never heard you badmouth it in public, and I doubt you would, but...

Spielberg: Oh no, I don't feel that way at all! I think the film is witty and clever, and I think Joe did an amazing job putting together those battles. And I think those battles Joe put together...I was jealous of the spinosaurus attack on the airplane! That scene where the spinosaurus attacks the airplane and the passengers inside the airplane was every bit as good as I thought the main road attack in 'Jurassic Park' was. So I'm a huge fan of Joe's, and he's the right guy to do the fourth one.

August 14, 2007 —Bloody-Disgusting has learned that Universal Pictures has officially begun casting for "Jurassic Park IV," which will film in Kauai, Hawaii later this year. Laura Dern confirmed her return to the franchise. Sam Neill (Dr. Ellie Sattler) will NOT return. B-D was told that the film is about the government who has trained dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes.Stay tuned for official news.

I missed the contest but given a month of subscription.

It’s almost a week of hefty work but I still managed to do my piece for the “Show me what’s happening” contest. I was so excited and motivated to do my entry because I really want to win. It took me a lot of time thinking and researching for my concept and after I was done with everything including the art for almost a week, I found out that the contest has ended earlier than the scheduled deadline. I was so depressed, hopeless and furious! I didn’t know what to do! I exerted a lot of effort for my art but it turned out to be wasted! I still did not surrender, I went to forum and posted a complaint about the contest and surprisingly, many have replied including posts of the people who didn’t have anything to do but put some non-sensed answers and comments. Thanks to electricjonny for giving me the link to lolly, the administrator who posted the contest on this site. I left him a message and without an hour I received his reply. He did not tell me the reasons for closing the contest early but he asked for apology and gave me a ONE MONTH SUBSCRIPTION! Whoa! I think that is enough to calm myself.hehehe Thank you so much lolly! more power to you!

This is my latest digital art. I made this as a tribute to my favorite super hero. Made him younger and more modern. I am also planning to make this as a series of arts and i will be featuring the JLA, just a plan, if time will be generous to me. It's been a while since i haven't posted anything here because i've been busy with my workloads. I am currently doing greeting card paints for my boss' new business and only got few chances to do my personal projects. I have also an on-going training in 3D animation in Cubao and striving my best to practice evrything that has been taught to us aside from being busy with other things. I think my mind is starting to be congested with so many stuffs that i am currently up to. But still, i want to stay focus with my goals in life. For now, i find it so hard to reach but i should not stop.
